About PixTools

PixTools is a free set of everyday image tools — resize, compress and convert — that runs entirely in your web browser.

Why browser-based?

Most online image tools ask you to upload your pictures to their servers, wait in a queue, and download the result — and you have to trust them with your photos. Modern browsers can do the same work themselves with the built-in canvas, so PixTools takes the other path: the tool comes to your image, not the other way around. Your files never leave your device, there's no queue, and the tools are instant.

What it costs

Nothing. PixTools is free to use, with no account, no sign-up and no watermarks on downloads. The site is supported by advertising, which keeps the tools free for everyone.

Who it's for

Anyone who has ever hit "your file is too large", needed a photo at an exact pixel size for a form or marketplace, or had a website reject a PNG where a JPEG was wanted. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
